David’s Optimism in the Psalms

David, the writer of most of the Psalms, kept his faith in God.  He was confident that God was with him, and would be there for him always.  He proved this in the psalms.  David knew that if he kept his confidence in God, God would be there for him.  David even knew that God was there, when he, David, was going through the worst situations in his life.  David knew he could keep his faith in God for the following reasons, which he mentions in the psalms:

God was and is never-changing.

God knows everything.

God is and was perfect.

God is loving and is love.

God defeats evil-doers.
