Gothic Cathedrals and European Ecomony

The Gothic Cathedrals have at least two characteristics that show what the people thought  God was like.  These two features are geometric coherence and light.  What do they represent God as?  Also, the Western-side of Europe, the first to have economic growth, proved that the less government there is, the better for economy.  Therefore, what did Europe do to become the first to ever experience this rise in economy?

Roland and Oliver

Roland and Oliver in the poem, Song of Roland, were friends and companions in the war of the French and Muslims.  During one of the battles, Oliver, Roland, and 2,000 Franks are left behind to fight the Muslims attacking them.  Oliver suggested to Roland to blow the rescue horn to save Roland, the Franks, and himself. However, Roland thinks this suggestion is crazy and says that it would make him look like a fool to all of France.

Thomas Aquinas

Thomas Aquinas is a very important Christian to know about.  His works and teachings of Christianity, God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, etc. are important to know as he plays an important role in history.  He, however, did meet disagreements.

Kanga’s Pouch

Why do marsupials, like the kangaroos and koalas, have pouches?  Why do the mother’s first give birth to undeveloped children and watch them crawl to her pouch to then finish developing?  Well, not even the scientists truly know why. However, I do have some thoughts.
