Augustus and Christianity

Augustus had a specific view of Christianity’s role in history.  We Christians are supposed to fear God.  We are supposed to not fear opposition from persecutors.  Christians are to obey God’s Law.  Augustus tells us this, and he’s not far off from what the Bible tells Christians to do.

Sanctions and Ethics in the Proverbs

Usually in the Proverbs we see what is right, then what is wrong, or visa versa.  Also, we see what a fool does compared to what the wise does, and what different “paths” they are going and what they will “earn”, for example.  These are ethics and sanctions.
